M., for six months, has lost strength and flesh rapidly ; cannot eat anything ; solid food lies heavily on his chest and makes him feel sick ; a pain crosses from the chest to the back ; is nearly choked by phlegm on the chest at night ; bowels much relaxed day and night, without pain ; aggravated by warm drinks and walking about, and amelioration when lying down. Remedy X 12CH was given. Diarrhoea cured the second day.
