REMEDY OF THE DAY: NARCISSUS Narcissus pseudonarcissus. Daffodil O.N. Amaryllidaceae. Tincture of the blooming flowers without opening, leaves, stems and flowers. , Trituration of the alkaloide either of the bulb before flowering or the bulb after flowering. A Plant remedy for cough, convulsing stage of whooping cough, also bronchitis, coryza, frontal headache. Skin erythema of a papular vesicular and pustular type, aggravation in wet wheather. Nausea followed by violent vomiting and diarrhea. The alkaloid produces dryness of the mouth, cutaneous secretions, dilates the pupil of the eye, quickens the pulse and slows and weakens the hear contractions' The remedy obtaines of buls after flowering produces copious salivation increases cutaneous secretions, contracts the pupul of the eye, produces light relaxation of the pulse and slight faintness and nausea.
