ACUTE RESCUE : A child of 8 years is brought with the complaints of cough for the past 4 days and cold, cough is worse in the morning after waking and not so prominent during sleep, she sleeps well, during the rest of the day the cough is present but not as severe ; cold and runny nose for the past 2-3 days, when the child brushes her teeth in the morning she almost vomits due to the gagging and retching. On exam of throat and fauces- fauces/pharynx congested mildly, follicles prominent, and a shiny, transparent mucus layer is seen inside throat. The mother is very anxious that the child must get better soon, so she doesn't miss her school. With which remedy can this child be rescued.. Ponder and suggest indicated similimum..
