Mrs. C, set. 28, had taken a cold in the early autumn; symptoms in January are feeling in back as if broken after walking; getting better by sitting. Violent cough worse in the night, lying on the back and on the right side; better by lying on the left side. Pain through the apex of left lung to the shoulder blade; also through base of right lung to shoulder blade. Cough worse from change to cold air, and coughs always after the least mouthful of food. Expectoration thick, yellow, stringy and offensive. Sweats profusely, which is worse about the head.

Kali bichromicum gave prompt relief. — H. N. Martin.
