REMEDY OF THE DAY: ANGELICA SINENSIS (Dong quai)
A member of the Apiaceae, common in and native of China. (Parsley family)
A remedy for Menopause – Nourishes and regulates de blood and regulates menses.
Produces and cures alternation of moods
an alternation of body temperature (hot flushes). The person feels
missunderstood, retreats into herself, wants to protect herself,
feels overwhelmed, alone, helpless, she also feels that with the right
emotional contact will restore her vitality and happiness.
Characteristic symptoms include achy restlessness at night,
craving for Ice cubes, photophobia, diarrhea from faty foods.
Worse in the sun, desires open air
Disappearance of a nodule in left-sided mastitis, Reduction in
frequency and quantity of menses. Profuse leucorrhoea,
milky, irritating discharge, more copious after the 10th, 15th day of period.
Intercouse uncomfortable, sometimes painful, Libido very irregular.
Disconfort, fainting sensation during menses, with vomiting and
frequent stools. Pain in the left ovary. Congestion in the left ovary.
Premenstrual swelling: mammary congestion and legs heavy.
