REMEDY OF THE DAY: APIS MELLIFICA Honey Bee

Through the ganglionic nervous system, it especially acts upon
the mucous tissues of the tongue, fauces, throat, and
neck of the bladder, also slightly upon the mucous tissues of
the eyes, lungs and kidneys.
It especially produces acute edema of the ovaries and
tonsils, On the serous tissues produces an inflammation
which disposes to dropsical effusions.
Upon the skin, it causes an affection similar to urticaria
it especially produces an acute edema of the
cellular tissue, this is the most prominent symptom in the
pathogenesis of Apis.

erysipelas, especially if due to injuries, Nettlerash,
stinging and itching. Acute, swollen throat, baggy
puffiness under the eyes, Red swollen ears, legs and
feet way and swollen, dropsy, urine scanty and no THIRST.

of penis, with stinging of testicles, Inflammation of
kidneys, with pain in lumbar region.

When this remedy is indicated, the pains are of a
burning and stinging character, and urine is scanty and
of high colour, the face is swollen, pale, waxen and
edematous. There is loss of appetite, with but little, or
no thirst. It produces anasarca and general droopsy.
with scanty urine, and suffocation so that the patient
cannot lie down. Should be remembered when the
dropsical condition develops rapidly, no thirst, swelling
of the genitals and backache. parts waxy hue.
